DBIA NYC 
Founded in 2011, the DBIA New York City Chapter is based in Manhattan and supports members and activities throughout the five Boroughs and surrounding Counties. The chapter was established because of the high concentration of members, firms and construction activity in the City. Today, DBIA New York City Chapter has grown to include many diverse members from Contractors, Consultants and Owners who regularly participate in chapter events. The Chapter is a thriving organization that hosts around three to four design-build events annually.
We work closely with all DBIA Liberty chapters to achieve the mission and vision of the overall DBIA organization. As an integrated member of the Liberty DBIA Team we have been successful in growing membership, awareness and best practices through strategic communications, tactical networking, and ongoing research and education. On the chapter level, we have succeeded in hosting a number of events including evening presentations on current local design-build projects and seminars on best practices for critical issues such as bridging documents and bidding design-build projects successfully.
In keeping with DBIA National’s 2017 -2019 strategic planning priorities, DBIA New York City Chapter is focused on defining, teaching, and promoting design-build construction methodology best practices, delivering high-value content to all stakeholders that will universalize Design-Build Done Right; leverage the existing strengths of design-build; and deliver high-value content to all stakeholders.
